April 13, 2012

First and foremost, on March 7th, we lost a good friend and dedicated member of the Clifton Heights Boys Club, James DiRomualdo or as everyone knew him, Jimmy D. Jimmy's spirit will live on through the efforts of each volunteer who helps the Clifton Heights Boys Club serve the youth of Clifton Heights and the surrounding neighborhoods. Rest in peace Jimmy D.

So here we are another month closer to the start of the 2012 football season. I wanted to share with you a couple of technological enhancements that we are looking into to improve your overall football experience with the Clifton Heights Boys Club.

The first enhancement that we are looking to implement in the next couple of months is online registration with credit / debit card processing. This will allow you to register for football and cheerleading anytime you wish from the comfort of your home. The second enhancement is that we are looking into the possibility to live stream our home games this season. The games would then be available to you to watch whenever you want. Stay tuned for more information on both of these initiatives.

Also, the Clifton carnival is right around the corner. The carnival is one of our biggest fundraisers. Bring the family out for a good time and a to help support the club. Stop by the CHBC booth and say hello to the coaches.
There are only about 123 days until camp opens up! Steve Goetz
